Tcc Rn Program

Just a quick update for those of you who have read my previous post about going to MCI for the LPN program.

I have decided to attend TCC instead for the RN program. (after I finish my prereq's there ofcourse)

Has anyone attended TCC? What did you think about their program?

I think you're making the right decision in choosing TCC...I just graduated from the program last month and I really don't have many complaints about the program. For the most part, they are very fair. It definitely makes financial sense and they have a great group of instructors as well as excellent NCLEX pass rates. First year they show you the ropes and by second year, they have you flying (definite difference in difficulty but thats how it goes!) I just read your post re: taking out loans and I recommend you do that too. As far as working, I quit my FT job and went to PT. I worked about 16 hrs/week first year and cut it down to one day/week second year. Its a tough program but TCC grads are well respected in this area.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!
