Taking the nclex 2nd time

well im taking my nclex on the 26th of this month and i find that im a lot more calmer then i was the first time i have been reading the saunders 3rd edtion book i got the book on may 10 and im already on chapter 37 and and i started doing a 100 questions a day on may 31 i plan to do that till my test plus i bought some flash cards to carry around with me at work when i failed i was crushed but i know i wanna be a nurse. i just wanna know some of you guys experince taking the nclex and what did you do the second time around to help you prepare. good luck to everybody who is taking their test :monkeydance: :nurse:

Good luck on your retake mistiblue. I, too failed the first time. Planning on retaking in 2 - 3 months. I am doing suzanne's plan. So many have sworn by it. Judging from the contents of your post, second time's a charm for you. Will be waiting for your I PASSED! post.

helo.. i am new here.. i'm planning to take the NCLEX but i haven't made my mind yet yet on what state i'm going to apply..any idea if where is the best state to apply? is north carolina alright and is it a non-CG state?tnx..

Gosh..when I saw FAIL in the NCSBN, I was really shaken coz

I have been always straight A student in my school and college life.

May be I was overconfident regarding Nclex exam. I had never seen the failure in my life.

hey, u know what, thats why people says..Learning by experience. Yeah, I learned and learned it in the hard way.

The second time I took time and studied as well as followed Suzanne's study guide. And I passed.

Ok..enough crap abt me.

wow thats great that you passed i know i cried my eyes out but now im good i learned what does not kill you only makes you stronger how long did you prepare for the second time around?
