Taking the Leap!

I have been in Critical Care nursing for 12 years.I have loved teaching since day one.I know I want to teach.I am presently enrolled in a post RN/BN program with a goal to teach.However,here in Canada(New Brunswick anyway) you need a Masters to teach because a BN is required to nurse.I can't face the thought of another 8 years before I get out.I waould like to hear from nurses that deliver seminars,or teach for drug companies,or something like that.How do I take the leap?How do you get started?What is an abstract?Either way,suggestions to get out now would be appreciated!Thanks!
