to take the offer or not

I have been a registered nurse for 5 months and am working in aged care (as i didnt get a gnp last year). My local country hospital has just put me on casually as a Rn and are aware that I will need support .

As I wasnt working as an Rn fulltime I was still able to apply for a Gnp. I got an offer on Monday and got in a Country hospital acute/aged care approx 100kms away from where I live (it was my third pref). Now Im not sure if to take the offer as I know how lucky I am to get an offer or stay with what I am doing. Just after some opinions of which way I will be better off.

I would take the offer, you wont get another chance and if you refuse this one you will be fighting with 400 other new grads for left overs. You will be more supported in a GNP program, but you have to weigh up the pro's and the con's of taking the position as opposed to not taking it.

Just be aware if you refuse it, it will be near impossible to find another GNP. Maybe try to negotiate a part time GNP and keep your casual role at the same time?
