Surgical NP

Hello NP's

I am looking for more information about surgical NP's. I have read a couple of posts on this forum but I am specifically looking to understand exactly what they do on a daily basis. I have been in the operating room for 19yrs and currently work as an RNFA. I am looking to finish my NP and then work with a general surgery group but currently, there is no other surgical NP in the area I can reach out to and better understand this job. I have seen job postings on the east and west coast but nothing in the midwest. If anyone is currently in this role and is willing to share their experiences with me I would greatly appreciate it. I don't want to give up the surgical side of my work I want to include it in the next position I will be working in.
