Support groups for working [and stressed] nurses in California?

Hi there,

I'm still in nursing school but I'm doing a project with a group of classmates and trying to devise a support group. We wanted to do something related to helping nurses with the stresses and struggles they face working in this field and I was just wondering:

1. Are there support groups out there that help nurses balance work, home, life etc.? If so, what are they and where can I get more information about them?

2. Are there any specific to California? any that exist in the Silicon Valley?

The reason I ask if because I've been having a hard time finding stuff on this. Perhaps I'm looking under the wrong terms.

Any info/response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million :)!
