Summers almost over

I'm still doing the mask thing, but I see more people are going maskless at stores. I have 2 at home w/ co-morbidities and can not afford to catch ANYTHING! 

That's awful about your boss being robbed. Scary! And there's so many frightening and hateful things going on; every evening watching the news, it is full of fires, floods, assaults, and shootings, not to mention the people in public offices everywhere who have THOUGHT they could get away with all kinds of dishonest/illegal dealings, lying and cheating others. GADS! I know there are good, honest people in the world---but they seldom make the news!

Complicated as it is the entire freedom democracy. I’m not sure if your aware but these affluent people are continuously targeted as they wear 400K watches riding in luxury cars bragging on social media and presented extravagant lifestyles. As I understand this is normal for them and that in no way do they deserve to be victims just as a woman walking alone at night shouldn’t be preyed upon. However something insides me says it has to be that somewhere they must know everyone doesn’t live these rich and famous lifestyles and wicked as it is that bad people exist they are targeted think: Kyle Richards, Dorothy Kemsley, Kim K the list goes on it’s almost like it’s an accident waiting to happen. Now working in accounts my position will be to secure accounts with businesses persons ect that may not see how security is mandatory for prevention. It’s not just California as I know I’m my past that certain families of old money require kidnapping insurance because of the fear that some crazy people would held their loved ones for ransom. And they do not wear luxury clothing or project extravagant rich persona it’s just a wealthy family owned business What is the sound a golf ball makes when it’s hit? So this is again why living in this day in age or if we actually look at the past Charles Lindbergh family ect it has a tendency to repeat itself geesh Louis

I grew up in the NorthEast and there were many rich folks in certain parts of the surrounding counties, but the only elbow-rubbing for me, was as a private duty nurse. I didn't know too many bling-flingers who advertised their wealth. Although one of my patients had an 88 y.o. mother who rode in a limo, driven by  her private chauffer (see, I can't spell some words either!). She wore mink- coats and always carried two little dogs who wore diamond collars! Different days and times back then, I guess. 

That is so funny! I’m picturing her to say to the limo driver “poor me a Brandy” And as I know your a southern women who are among many conservatives who see most solutions to politics and religion can be sort out over playing cards and drinking bourbon and of course all before noon honey!

Your right no stars I’m cringing with slight embarrassment of my mistakes coming from you alone I will accept my mistake. Oh well we have something in common I myself did some private duty nursing it’s the best especially when it’s no rush. Do you think the pen is mightier than the sword? I always hear so many old people say these reminders of the past? Like : lights out? What in the world? A patient was an inventor who went up against the LPGA saying his invention should be taken away from the sport itself I think the lawsuit attributed to his death as he has passed on but now the same persons defendants do value some interesting views like instilling they have sent many to law school so they know have their own representation lawyers in the family! Can you imagine the contradictions and pressure to be a part of the nursing staff where they pull out documents stating the patient can or cannot have CPR but in this case or that then revised year after year...-and then if it breaks the ribs not to preform? Complicated as it sounds it’s these kind of well to do and educated that still with all this and that cannot accept homosexuality as it has been a Nono sad as it is it’s those things I have witnessed that make me say again sickness comes in many forms

Just to set the record straight----I've been in the South since 1977. First moved to Nashville for several years, then moved to Asheville, NC for many years, and now am near Charlotte for the past 5 years.

BUT I AM A DAMN YANKEE! I was born and raised North of Boston, went to nsg school in Cambridge, Mass, not too far from Harvard Yard. And I am not a conservative, I am an independent voter, with  great dislike of most politics/politicians.

Worked Friday with a younger person who can’t understand privacy and boundaries. If I leave the office my desk I do not want to return seeing my things touched. Bad habits. I’m human have some of them as well however these kinds of things irk me. Do not touch my things is something we learn as kids. Instead of getting resistant or angry I’m taking this as an assignment that patience understanding we cannot assume all of us were given basic foundations to prepare us to respect space. It’s a work in progress as still he went into refrigerator took out a TV dinner and warmed it up ate ect and I know darn well he didn’t buy it! Don’t get me started on the list of these type things I shouldn’t zero in on because he is 29 with four small kids taking the bus public transit hoping a train all to get back and forth obviously very tired lack of sleep so I’m emphazing his go get and endurance to get here on time as a positive not negative. I’m watching my reactions to everyday actions not to get into that negative mind space as it’s easy to slip into and hard to climb out from. Keep you posted on accounts and my position working the new sector within this new exciting work experience

Do you share the duties within your household? Cooking? Cleaning? As I’m assuming both work are they organized in a up system your turn then his or how is it played out? Some women love cleaning cooking comes natural, I’m kinda a hoarder personality it can get ridiculous as I do not know why I am such a person who likes so many things think maybe it’s variety! Could not eat same thing everyday happily but I see some do and it doesn’t bother at all

Only thing I know of regarding Boston is Fanuel Hall and Boston Aquarium. Travelled long ago and know many travel and live in New Hampshire do the commute my mom is a Vermonter. Maybe this is why I’m such a mixed nutty biracial bicoastal I remember Bernie being in office and that’s all I ever knew about politics. I think New Englanders have that mindset not afraid to accept women as equals and recognize that women can and should be in leadership roles. At least my personal circle growing up never put down women like I expect it to be in those southern states? 

Sad as it is with ongoing stores open they keep getting hit so the police don’t show up they think it’s an “inside job”

First of all, ☀️GOOD FOR YOU! I think your inner work is so important, and I know that's kind of what helped turn me around and be better able to tolerate where I am in life. "This too, shall pass." It's not always easy, but the more I get in the habit of stopping my negative thoughts by thinking one or two lines of prayer "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors"  and/or .....Well, I'll be cornswaggled (a Southernism). Here's a good laugh: I have forgotten the second line from another prayer!! Oh well, it'll come to me, I'm sure. It's just my way of giving myself an elbow bump and call attention to my thoughts.

In therory and in practice, it works well for me; But it still doesn't surpress my very inventive streak for humorous paybacks (that never occur; I'm just blowing off mental steam).

Hubby wants to converse, so I'm stepping outta here for now!
