how to study efficiently?

Hi, guys.

I'm an international student in a nursing program(RN). This is my first semester.

I try very hard to finish all the homework and exams on time. Usually I submit my assignments very close to deadline.

In some reasons, I can't get any help from my professors. How do you guys study?

Are there any websites or study tools or lectures that I can study by myself?

For phamacology: I need to know the websites,or books, softwares that pronounce each name of drugs.

Clinical class: care plan, concept map,

Any useful websites and advices will be appreated.

This might be a long shot but...do you have an iPod touch or an iPhone? They have an app called "Drug Pronounciations" that pronounces the names for you - it's very helpful! I'm sure there is a website somewhere, but unfortunately I do not know of one.

I have found this website to be helpful when studying for my pharm class: http://www.pharmaquiz.com

They have PharmaCharts which have some common drugs grouped by drug class and include side effects and nursing implications and other helpful things. PharmaQuiz contains quizzes grouped by drug class that tests you on knowledge relating to drugs that are important to know as a nurse.

Here is a good patho website: http://faculty.alverno.edu/bowneps/index.html
