STCC 2011 Hopefuls?

Hi! I'm also a 2011 hopeful. I took the hesi and got a 88. I have three more prreqs in the spring semester. I hope we get in!!!

Me too! I was supposed to re-take the HESI tomorrow, but it got snowed out, so now I'm taking it next Thursday.

Which classes are you taking this semester? I'm taking A&P, Micro, and Human Growth and Development. I'll be taking A&P 2 over the summer, and then my prereqs are done.

Thanks for asking :) I got a 94% the second time around, and I am very very happy with that. I was shooting for a 95%, and I was close enough to be comfortable. Now, I just need to keep my grades up for this semester and *fingers crossed* I should look awesome in the stack of applications.

This part is going to be the hardest...just waiting to find out one way or the other.

No I put all my eggs in one basket, and by the time it occured to me to apply to other schools, most of the deadlines had passed. The few that hadn't, I had to take another entrance exam (not the HESI), and I didn't feel I had the time to study for it in such a short timeframe. So, I'm really hoping I get into STCC, since if I don't it will set me back a full year.

I hope we get in, too! This is going to be the longest 2-3 months of my life, lol.

have u known anyone who in to the nursing program that didnt have all of their pre-reqs done before spring??

I'm also hoping to get in! I got an 86 on my Hesi last year, but all the math/english sections were over 90%. I'm debating whether I should retake the test this coming Feb 15th. What do you guys think?

when exaCtly did u take the hesi?

I don't remember exactly, but it was after I had taken A&P1 so It was either in the summer or early fall.

I think I'm just going to stick with it, I have very good grades so hopefully I will be ok! (plus I think I actually got an 89 not an 86 now that I think more carefully about it, I just can't seem to find my paper on it )
