1st year in need of HELP!

Hi, can anyone please explain to me the affect Salbutamol has on bronchial cells?? I have an understanding on how the medication helps relive respiratory stress but not its exact affect on the cells. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a mature 1st year and haven't done any biology for over 10 years!

This isn't really a "biology" question. Since you're considering the phamacological action of a drug, this drug will have a certain class relating to it's pharmacotherapeutic action (B2-adrengergic agonist) and clinical use (bronchodilator). From here, you will find the mechanism of action which will pretty much give you the cellular-level action salbutamol has on the bronchial smooth muscle.

Hopes this points you in the right direction.....
