3/2 split?

I got a great externship for the summer. I was just assigned to my preceptor and told she works a 7A 3/2 split. I know that it's 7 AM, but what is meant by 3/2 split? They act like you should just know these things!

if I am not mistaken, she works 3 days off 2 days, and works 2 days and off 3 days. This is the shift I worked before and this is how we worked.
