Solano nursing program 2017

Hi everyone! I am applying to the nursing program at solano college for the fall 2017 semester. I started this thread to see if anyone has had any experience with the new lottery system or applying for the program at all. Any advice or experiences would be great!!

I also applied to Solano. I know they will exhaust their waitlist first and the additional slots will be lottery based on two different comulative scored groups. It's an odd system.

Should be hearing back soon!! Ugh, the wait is awful.

Hi, I was wondering if you have heard anything?

No, I have not. They have a terrible process. The acceptance letters already went out, but they do not let the other candidates know that until this summer when they return our packets. They even have their alternates. The whole thing makes no sense. Did you hear from them? Did you apply any where else?

Yea that is quite different than the other schools. I applied to San Joaquin college and I got in. I guess I was just still curious about Solano. How about you?

I got in to Cal State East Bay, my first choice school. Like you, I'm also curious about my other applications. Congratulations on getting into SJC!
