Hello, does anybody happen to know if we can call the nursing department to see if they have receive my application I mailed in or do they not tell you?

You can certainly try! When I submitted my application there, they were super nice, as opposed to the other nursing departments I've been to, so I'm sure they'll tell you!

Thanks! I'll give them a call on Friday and see how it goes. Knowing that they will be receiving many applications, I don't know if they will keep track of names of each applications that have been received. I guess it doesn't hurt to call and check. Just paranoid that my application might not get there and will go missing

Hi! Sierra is one my list as well. Besides CSUS it would be my first choice. It is where I completed all of my pre-reqs and where I started this journey 25 years ago! Yes, I said 25 years ago! Never give up!

Hi fellow nursing applicants! First year applying to Sierra and ARC. Looks like we are in the waiting period until May 13th or so. Looking forward to hearing all about the updates. Good luck!!

From all the colleges I applied I feel that Sierra is the toughest waiting, because the rest of them have some online tools where you can check that your application is complete and qualified and wether you get in, but with Sierra there's absolutely no indication of anything. Is it really only around May 13th that we may or may not get an email?

Hey everyone! This is my first time also applying to Sierra College, ARC, and SCC. My TEAS scores and gpa where not good enough for Sacramento State. I wish everyone luck! From what I have read in the past, usually Sierra College gets back at the end of April, so we will see!

Second year applying to Sierra for me, and last year, most folks were getting their acceptance emails before the end of April. So, no, I think you'll find out before May 13th. Just keep checking this post and good luck!

What things have you guys heard from the Sierra College nursing program? Compared to the los rios nursing program, how is it difference?
