Sharp RN Walk in interview

U.S.A. California

Has anyone done this? I'm just curious what to expect, and how these are conducted. I verified with a recruiter they still have them.

This is in regards to Sharp Healthcare in San Diego. Thanks!

Could you be more specific?

Sharp healthcare offers walk in interviews for nurses with at least 1 year of acute care experience. They're every Thursday from 9am - noon. I'm not in the area yet but will be in a few weeks and definitely plan on checking this out. I've been emailing a recruiter for my specialty but just wondered how these are conducted... I.e, how they can have walk in interviews with no position (unless they need nurses in all positions, or would save your profile and call you if an opening occurred). Just never heard of this before!

Oh wow, I wasn't aware they did this! I am a new grad so this isnt an option for me. That's pretty cool, though! Good luck and I hope someone can supply you with more information! (Psst, Im a military wife too. San Diego is wonderful!)

MamakatRN that is awesome! I love finding other military spouses that are nurses. Good for you :) good luck in your career endeavors! Happy military spouse appreciation day!

Hey Sailorwifey... i was wondering if you ended up doing the walk in interview? I plan to do the same in the next couple months.. if you could let me know how it went that would be great!

Ah sorry carizzal, I took another position here and didn't end up doing the walk in interview. It sounds like a great way to introduce yourself. Good luck.

Ok thanks sailor wifey! If you don't mind me asking how many years of experience and what sort of experience did you have when you got hired?
