i am in the accelerated bsn program at shu and finish in 2 months

quinnie50-would you mind describing you typical day? I am currently taking the pre-reqs and will be applying to SHU and FDU for the ABSN. I have 3 children (middle school age) and would like to get an idea of the schedule--how early you have to be there and when you typically finish your day. Still trying to figure out if I will actually be able to swing this or if I should wait a couple years until kids are older. Thanks for any help you can provide.

hi...the 1st 11 months we took 18 credits a semester and went to school 4 days a week..in the 13th and 14th month we are in the hospital 4 days a week and have class all day the 5th day......for the most part, you are gone all day..i am 48 and the oldest woman in the class...however, i don't have kids...you can email me at [email protected] if you have any other questions...good luck:nurse:

I am in the accelerated MSN program that shu offers. I go to school 5 days a week but you are there no later than 5 on the day with the most classes. You need to dedicate alot of time to the readings and clinical skills practice.
