Anyone else applying to the sentara nursing 2017 program. I have a 3.9 gpa and dont take my teas until friday. What about everyone else
Just got teas results and got a 84.7. Feel discouraged saying last years average for those accepted was 85.5+ hopefully my gpa will give me a boost. I had 92.9 reading, 83.3 science, and 80 on the rest. Really upset that since im a math wiz i did so bad on the math:(

Hi Baker93! I just submitted my application. Don't feel bad though, that's just the average accepted score, meaning there had to be some scores lower than 85 and some higher :) be positive! You have a better chance than me! I have a 3.7 GPA and got an 82.7 on the TEAS. I did horribly on the math section as well, but I hate math. I actually ran out of time on that section!

You and I have almost the exact same grades! I also got an 82.7 on the teas and I have a 3.8 gpa. Fingers crossed! Are you applying anywhere else? I'm thinking about also applying to riverside because it will be closer to me.
Nope im not applying anywhere else. Im so nervous though. And i freak out on whether they got my teas scores or not. I know my scores are good and so are both of yalls, im just in that is it even good enough stage. Seems like everyone ive talked to has about the same scores. So its a fingers crossed, anxiety waiting type of thing.
We are preparing to move from California to Virginia so at least I have that to take my mind off of the worrying haha. I'm hoping the next couple of weeks withholding pass quickly!
I hope so to. But really 15 days for a decision isnt long most places are about 2 months
There is a facebook group for those accepted sentara bsn class of 2019
