Second Year Nursing Student Tips??

Hey everyone.

I am a second year nursing student, 23, no kids, no job. There are 20 days left until my second year starts as a nursing student. I am thrilled to graduate in the spring but, of course, have my questions regarding this coming year. I just hope that I have what it takes to really push through and make it to the end....and be good at it. I am a little nervous for what the second year has to bring like IV insertion and perfecting all the other million skills. I guess I am just looking for a little bit of advice as to what a second year student should expect and any tips that past students recommend during the second year.

Thanks a lot!

Hey we just did our fun IV stuff at the end of our 1st year and its not bad at all! Really kind of fun, actually! Just watch the videos before you go in and it will make a lot more sense. Im just starting my 2nd year too and feel similar- like I worked SO hard last year, how can I possibly do this AGAIN for another year?? Ill kill myself! Lol but of course we will do it, and well be all the stronger for it. For me it really helps to take it one day at a time. And caffiene, lots of that, too ;)
