I just finished my first semester too :). Our school doesn't go in the summer. We were told by second semester faculty, that came to talk to us to review pharmacology in our spare time, because it would be a large part. They also Gave us a brief reading list of what to read prior to august start. Don't throw anything away from 1st semester yet, you may need to review for 2 nd. Everything builds.

While I'm not in your school... here's my tips for getting ready for 2nd semester.
1) Don't throw away your 1st Semester stuff. You'll want to have it around for studying.
2) If you have your book list and your first few reading assignments, read them over the summer. It'll help.
3) If you've got psych AND you have your reading list for that, I HIGHLY recommend reading those assignments a couple times over the summer. It'll help you even more when you're trying to learn that stuff in class. If you've been given a list of meds (especially for psych) learn those. It'll help you further down the line.
4) If your instructors have given you a list of meds, first learn the med that's typical of that class... then all you'll have to do is learn a "new" med in that class and how it's different.
5) Don't stress out too much. It's a step up in thinking, but it builds upon what you already know, so it won't be too big of a jump up in expectations.
