Sandostatin LAR nightmare

Hi. I would be glad to hear from someone who has had experience giving Sandostatin LAR IM. I found the help line for the med. to be lacking in technical support. I followed the directions closely and still found that it was a real headache:banghead: to get the medication to form a suspension. Finally, when it had formed a milky appearance and had been drawn up into the syringe and gently turned back and forth a couple times, it was tough to inject. It did go into the muscle but with great effort. Any tips? thanks
