Well, I'll give the abbreviated version of my long story.
I started a Tech-Prep program in high school through the community college, well the waiting list was 2-3 years for a 2 year program. I got fed up with waiting, got a associates in medical office management and went to school for EMS. Finished both of those programs without a problem. I recently enrolled in a LPN program finished the 1st semester with straight A's. Then my mom backed out of babysitting (I have 3 kids) so I had to withdraw from the program. Now I am enrolled at a university for a 4 year BSN program, I just feel like something always comes up. I WANT to be a nurse, a L&D nurse, then I want to go on to NP or CNM just depends where life takes me. I have such a passion for nursing but it's like life keeps getting in the way. Is it me? Or a series of bad circumstances? I start the BSN program in the winter, should graduate in 2012, which would give me plenty of time to get it done! I just feel like the whole world is flying past and I am stuck in park. Anyone else ever feel like the whole world was against them becoming a nurse? Or is it me? Or is it that it just hasn't been the right time yet?!
Ah, so many questions, I know you can't answer them, I guess I am just looking for success stories of those in NS or about to finish so that I can say "I can do it TOO!"
