Rutgers BSN program

I am a senior at Union HS and have been applying to nurisng colleges for a BSN program. I haven't heard anything about RUTGERS BSN PROGRAM.

SO, It would be great if someone, could give me some advice about Rutgers. Also, does anyone know of a 5 year MSN program in NJ.

Thankyou.

Hey There,

I'm currently a student at a cc taking the pre-requisite programs to enter rutgers bsn program. I'm pretty sure they have 3 separate programs, one in camden, new brunswick, and newark. I'll be entering the BSN program in Camden this Fall 08. My knowledge is on the requirements for Camden but I'm pretty sure all three share similar requirements. If you're looking to transfer straight into the BSN program, you can apply directly online as an undergraduate then you do your pre-requisite courses (about 2 years) in Rutgers before actually starting on the program. Pre-reqs I had to complete were A&P 1 and 2, Organic Chem 1 & 2, 12 credit humanities, Microbio, Basic/Abnormal/Child Psyc, English Comp 1 & 2, World Lit. I took mine in a CC because its cheaper and applied to Rutgers as a transfer student. The credentials required for transfer can be found in their website. They include transcripts, letter of recommendation, SAT scores, online admission application and a HESA exam which is similar to the NET. If you average a 3.0 if you take your courses in Rutgers, HESA is disregarded. Good Luck!

Best Regards,

John
