RN-BSN Program at UVIC

Having been a diploma nurse for the past 30 years, I am going to start the rn-bsn program online this fall (2014). I graduated in Alberta, worked in BC and for the past 13 years have lived/worked in California.

Is anyone else starting this program? I am interested in conversing with others starting this fall, perhaps having a "study buddy". Or anyone who has taken it recently that I can bounce questions off of!

    How is the UVic course going? I am starting in January. From Ontario, been in US for 17 years, traveling, worked in California for a while. Would love to be a study buddy, although I will be a bit behind, only taking one course in Jan. but plan to take 3 after that. Would love to hear how it is going!

    The courses are going great. It was a tough adjustment at first. I'm trying to do 3 units each semester. Right now I'm doing 325 and 341. Next term probably electives since they are only offered certain times. What are you planning on taking? 3 courses sounds like a lot, especially if you work full-time.

    Do you know if it it recognized in ontario seeing that it is 24units?? it is not the same as credit courses, i am from montreal and will start my first session in janurary 2016.
