Re-Entry Program

Hi Everyone,

I am an international nurse and obtained an U.S. RN certificate last year. I left my working place in my country in 2002. I finished NCLEX and immigration process last year. Finally,I started working in a busy Med/Surg department this year. However, I realize that there is a huge gap medical system between the U.S. and my country;also, medical terminology (included drugs' names) was killing me. I live in Hawaii and unfortunatelly, there is no great resources for RN refresh courses or something like that. I am seeking for a program in the mainland. But I have read some negative comments about RN re-entry courses on the web. Does anyone suggest a simmilar course which covers general nursing assessment, pharmacology, and medical terminology? Or should I individually take classes in the University or College settings?

Please help me:cry:
