For the CAA's, has anyone noticed a good resource book? I know they have to be evidence based. For all the new forms that they have created- has anyone found a simple cheat sheet of when to use what when. I think I got it all straight. The start of therapy and end of therapy- that is just the Medicare A residents you are keeping Medicare A but need a non-rehab or rehab rug depending on the situation. Am I correct? So when would I use the start or therapy end of therapy combo form or is that considered the short stay(cause I really didn't see a form called short stay unless I missed it). My last question....how are most handling the transition of billing between September and October- I think we are just going to do option 1, both. We are a small facility with less then 8 on Med A. I can't afford to gamble with the default rate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
