Hi! I am new to this site and I am hoping to gain some helpful insight as to what career paths I should take to becoming a Registered Practical Nurse.
One of my friends is currently working as PSW while she is in school part time to becoming a RPN. I am considering following her footsteps because I have heard it is really hard to get a job as a new graduate RPN with no relative experience. I live in Toronto, Ontario if that helps any.
I guess I'm just wondering if I would be wasting my time doing the PSW course before my RPN course? Should I just jump right into nursing school and see where it goes?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
