  1. Thank you!
  2. Hey did anyone get any info on the drug/background testing? I paid and registered for both weeks ago and was told that Capital would be reaching out when it was time to go for the test but I haven't heard anything!
  3. I'm having the same problem with CCC!! In all of our info it says to contact them immediately about it, and I can't get anyone to get back to me with any helpful information. The answer I got from LPN- RN advisor 2 weeks ago was "Unfortunately, I don't have any information on that." The bridge course at Charter Oak starts in 4 weeks!! I wonder if they're waiting to see how many people confirm their spot by the 5/1 so they know how many candidates they're dealing with?
  4. I don't know! I really want to make an informed decision and I definitely cannot do that right now until I talk to someone! This is going to be the hardest decision
  5. Did you get a letter about fast track lpn entry? Mine says I "might" be able to start this year! I'm even more confused now
  6. Mine too! Still says accepted, thank god!!
  7. This happened to a girl at Goodwin, where they sent her an acceptance letter and then told her it was an error! Did anyone see that on the news? Literally my biggest fear lol
  8. I went back on the required items page and now the congratulations message is GONE!!! Freaking out!!
  9. I got in to Capital!! Stats... Teas: 79.8 A&P 1: A- Nursing gpa: 3.3 Good luck everyone! Also from reading old threads on here, it looks like they took someone previously who was waitlisted at #15! Not bad!
  10. I'm kind of upset that they didn't include it in the information packet! It's such a hard decision, because even if you get in and opt to wait until the 3rd semester to join, there may not even be space and we would be doing this waiting thing all over again! Ugh. I also applied to Indiana State, they have an online LPN-BSN program but I think you have to manage your own clinical rotations which can be good and bad... There are definitely not enough avenues for LPNs to continue their education in CT! So frustrating
  11. This is for CCC, where did you apply?? I figured they would all be the same but maybe not! I was REALLY disappointed when I got that email!!
  12. I went to Stone Academy and did the 22 month part time option because I had the same idea! They JUST changed the process this year though and not for the better! This is part of the email that I got... If I get admitted I have 2 choices... 1.Start the program in Nursing 101 in the Fall 2017 semester with all applicants for the full two-year program. 2. Select the advanced placement option into Nursing 201 and bridge the final two semesters starting Fall 2018-May 2019. It is important to note that there will be a limited number of spots (not to be determined until May 2018) available for advanced placement into Nursing 201. Should you choose the advanced placement option, you will not be guaranteed a space into Nursing 201 for Fall 2018. It will depend on how many spots are available and how many LPN applicants select the advanced placement option into Nursing 201 for the Fall 2018 semester.
  13. Hey guys!! I've been following this thread for the past few months to stay in the loop! I really appreciate everyones input. Any other LPN applicants out there??
