  1. Okay awesome! do you know if theres an interview process...havent heard anything about that
  2. Hey! I applied for 2020 Fall at Rutgers DNP but for the Acute Geriatric track.. I havent heard a single thing either! I have no idea what the admission process is going to be like... espeically now with covid19,
  3. Hello everyone! I also applied. I'll be going to a entry level masters program in the fall. Fingers crossed!!
  4. I found out that I got accepted late December. In the interview, they heavily implied that they liked me, but they never said "you're 100% in". However I pretty much knew that I would be receiving an official acceptance, and I'm not really confident about that stuff at all. Haha. I received a letter in the mail about a week and a half after my interview. What about you, have you received anything yet? I'm from the west coast so this will be a big move for me. I looked into the university of Rochester and its extremely expensive as well. What about you?
  5. Huge congrats!! I think I'm 100% going to the program. Its expensive, but it is a masters degree and I would rather take out a graduate plus loan from the federal government, than having to take out a private loan. What about you? Are you from NJ/around the area?
  6. Hey there! Good luck for the interview. Let me know how it goes. Talk about the experience/schooling you have and why it will make you a great nurse, and give specific examples. Also, talk about how you're ready and will be committed to the program. I will be attending this fall! Is this program your top choice?
  7. I am from California! So itll be a big move for me! Cant wait to get the ball rolling. do you know what area youll be living in?
  8. Nice, me too! are you from NJ?
  9. Huge congrats! Do you think that you will attend the program?
  10. Congrats on getting the interview! The only thing I would suggest is making sure you have specific examples as to why you would make a great clinical nurse leader through the experience/schooling you have. Be personable and friendly. Let us know how it goes and if you get in!
  11. Yes I am on Facebook, just shoot me an email at "[email protected]" and I'll respond very quickly. Luckily we still have so many months until august but I want to get ahead of the curve!
  12. I was admitted as well:) do you think ink you will attend this program?
  13. Hello, I recently applied for the 2nd degree CNL program at Seton Hall. Has anyone else applied or had an interview yet? Lets keep eachother posted!
  14. Its very true. I graduated from a UC school in california with a 3.4 and I didn't get into the program. They are very strict, and if you don't have hands-on experience (CNA, EMT) in the field I wouldn't bother. I hear its better to apply to Masters programs that aren't necessarily entry level NP program. Like clinical nurse leader for example. For sure save your application fee. On top of that, this school is 87,000 a YEAR and its 3 years long.
  15. Bumbleface, I haven't heard anything about financial aid. I'm wondering how that works as well. Id rather get a loan from the school than getting a loan from the bank. Gabriel, I looked at housing in the "white coat village" it's very close to the school of nursing and the hospital. Congrats!! Has anyone received the official letter in the mail yet?
