  2. Awesome, I saw the green dot before I was told that I was a accepted into the program. I hope this hasn't changed
  3. Put in APU login portal in google. It should be the first result
  4. So if you had ever gone on there prior to your interview, the dot was yellow. That's a good sign.
  5. home.apu.edu/cas
  6. It is where you log in to register, accept or decline financial aid.
  7. One more thing you ladies can check, I was told When I was waiting to get into the program to log on to CAS and see if have a green dot by my name at the bottom.
  8. The competency exam is not hard, if you have worked as an LVN you can answer the question. But I do agree that August seems a little off. I know that orientation is usually 2-4 weeks before the program starts
  9. Hi ladies, I had my interview last fall and was accepted to the Spring 18 start, I deferred my enrollment and I start this fall at the ie campus. My email came late in the evening. I had my interview the last week they were interviewing so I only had to wait a couple days to find out. The competency was set for 3 week later. We took the exam as a group, and were told immediately if we passed, after week took the skills portion also told immediately if passed. Tried on the uniforms and left. Disclaimer: I can only speak of what I experienced. Best wishes to you all, I look forward to having you as classmates.
  10. Have you already submitted your stuff for Fall 2018? After that you should get a call to have an interview. After the board meets to determine who gets in and if you do you should an email. After that is the xompentcy is exam
  11. Hi, I did get in but postponed my start date until August 2018
  12. So, do you know what your summer schedule looks like yet?
  13. IE Campus, Wednesday is 8 -1 or a little longer and Thursday is 8 or 9 to 5
  14. Which campus are you applying to? For IE Campus, the first semester is 2 days a week Wednesday and Thursday but of course that could change.
  15. I did not have that option, so I'm not sure. They should give you a study guide.
  16. The skills was TB injection, V/S, ear and eye drops. I can't remember the questions and I no longer have the study guide but I promise it was doable...
  17. What campus are you applying to? The competency exam is very easy, it really is just basic LVN skills. Don't over think it. They will email the study guide to you; I'm not sure what I did with mine if I find out I'll email it to you.
  18. Mrs. Carter, Thank you so much for your information, I was wondering what books do you feel you could have rented and purchased? Thank you
  19. Hi Rebecca, My name is Arkilia (Kiki), I'm so glad you found my page. I was getting nervous, I kept thinking where is everyone; I know I'm not the only one..... Lol. I spoke to Michelle, all she could tell me is that financial aid will not cover the whole program only about half. She couldn't tell me how much in grants I would get in grants. I have to wait to get my email address. I'm guessing that will happen after the competency exam results. Not sure though. I have so many ququestions i want to ask them. It seems all very top secret, they don't really tell you to much information. Sorry so long. Can't wait to meet you on Monday!!!!!!í ½í¸í ½í¸

  23. Hey All, So even though I was told I would not have to interview, I did have to interview. I did my interview on Monday October 16. I thought the interview went well. I was told by the director that the board was meeting on Wednesday to determine what students will be accepted, I have been checking my email like a crazy person waiting to find out if I've been accepted or not. I read on another thread that when you log into CAS, click on the studet center tab and look at application status and there is a green dot; that is a a good sign, so of course I went on to check and yes my application status is showing a green dot, but I would rather hear fom the school but my hopes are little more up.he week before Thanksgiving and orientation will be held December 7. Best wishes to all of you who applied Also I was told that the compentcy exam should take place t
  24. Just spoke to student financial services the loans will only cover half the program. They don't know how much I'll qualify for in grants so I will have to get an outside loan to cover the rest.
