Hi All! I haven't been active on this thread however I was accepted for Spring '18 as well! I wanted to let those who were wait-listed know that I applied for the Fall '17 cohort and was wait-listed. I received an email asking me to apply for the spring while I wait for a further decision for the fall. I was a little discouraged however they gave me a waiver for the application fee so I thought, why not. I did change my essays a little bit before submitting my second application. Looking back, I'm so glad I did since Duke was the only program I really wanted to attend. I know it's not the best scenario but if you're wait-listed now and are asked to reapply, definitely do so (given that you don't decide to attend elsewhere). The waiting sucks but you never know, you might get another chance like I did!
