  1. Hello. There are so many wonderful threads, I hope to read most of them. I just turned 32 a few days and am looking to start a career as a nurse (hopefully). I graduated in 2013 with my BA in HR Management. I had no prior HR experience, so it's been a nightmare trying to break into that field, even with a degree. My best friend is currently taking her pre-reqs for nursing and mentioned that I should look into it as well. I love helping people, only I fear the math lol. I'm not that great when it comes to math; however, I do work hard and I know if I study hard, I will pass these classes. I'm looking to start off with ADN from a community college, then actually get into the field and take online classes to obtain higher degrees. I do have one child, but her dad helps out even though we aren't together. I recently moved in with my parents in hopes of making this dream come true. Anyone have any advice? Any get real comments? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
