  1. That's good to know since I don't think I'd be able to take it this semester at all because I still have to work. Hopefully, I can take it then.
  2. Hi! I'll be doing the Kaiser rotation too, so I'll see you a lot I guess Yeah, no list here either, but I'm sure we'll go over what's supposed to be included in the bag either at Bootcamp or once the semester starts.
  3. I'll be there! hey I have a question. Has anyone activated their e-portfolio yet?
  4. Thanks for all the information! It's so helpful to have insight into the program because I know right now I'm starting to freak out a little bit. I was thinking about taking the pharmacology (after realizing the 11pm part was a typo lol) but I might wait only because I want to adjust to the program and because it supports 21
  5. From what it says on the back of my boxes, there is a digital copy included. I haven't opened them yet, though.
  6. Without knowing how your class is structured it's hard to say for sure, because a lab heavy class will weigh differently than a test heavy class. That being said... I'm good at science and Micro was a difficult course compared to both A&Ps. I got an A mostly because I aced my lab and it brought up my lecture score. Like you, I also worked full time--overnight shift. Because of this I waited to study until a couple nights before the tests. Don't do that. Just keep studying as much as you can every night and try not to cram the material because it is a lot of information and you really build upon what you're learning. Take advantage of office hours and tutors on campus if you can. Also, if you can find material from other courses online and that material makes more sense to you, use it. Trust me you can definitely do this!
  7. I didn't buy it or either of the Mosby's yet because the book list they gave us said we could use reference books of our choice, so I wanted to wait and find the one I like best. Usually, they're the current year's editions because they're updated each year. So it should be the 2015, unless the 2016 is already out.
  8. That's really cute! I need to get a new bookshelf or something like that for all my books since they're all in stacks on the floor right now. I haven't counted the pages, but I counted the chapters. That's enough to stress me out already. I need to start on those now.
  9. I didn't have that problem and I think you just had to contact ------------. I would email or call ---------------. Luckily, I managed to get priority yesterday since I emailed -------------, --maybe, three times--explaining that I had talked to ----------------. Good thing too, because there were five spots left at Kaiser when I finally managed to get in to register. Is anyone else going to kaiser? I'm pretty central to all of them but Kaiser is most familiar to me.
  10. Did you guys get an email saying you were cleared? I called her today and she said she put me on the list of people to check but I didn't hear anything after that :/
  11. I believe you email the Health Coordinator. Her email is on the RCC website.
  12. Hi everyone! I'm so glad I found this topic. I was accepted for Fall 2015 too! Super excited, but also really anxious, especially after intake day. Read some really helpful things already, like about the coursepoints, because I was confused about that as well. I wasn't sure if we should go off the bookstore list or the one the SON gave us. I guess I'll only be buying the three starred on the SON book list too. Has anyone unlocked their coursepoints and started to use them? Also, does anyone know about how to purchase/sign up for the Kaplan? The flier wasn't very informative and Steven said something about purchasing it before the nursing bootcamp. Thanks! See you all soon!
