  1. Last year, students had to accept by 7/13 and on 7/8 they were calling alternates to make sure they were still interested. Since the acceptance deadline is 6/13 this year, I think it's safe to expect a phone call by June 10th if you're in the top 7 alternates :)
  2. Some advice though, if I may: settle in to the waiting period. I know it's hard to not think about it, but try to distract yourself from it a little because the opportunity for alternates to be admitted lasts until the first week of classes in late September. I was where you are last year; I know it's hard. It may be a long summer for some of you but it may just pay off! :)
  3. They didn't really last year; my guess would be that no one will hear anything until June 13th, since that's the deadline
  4. You have to search for it and then request to be added I think.
  5. Oh wow! 27 alternates? That's more than last year!
  6. Last year I was number 14; I think they got to 6 or 7. But the year before that they said that they blew through all 20!
  7. I think the lowest score was 354.5....because it was me lol
  8. What was your score? (Just curious)
  9. I know right?! They said to let them know by May 2nd if there was a point dispute, so if someone did (out of 150 to 200 people, there's got to be someone), that may take longer. Last year, they were telling people June and I got my alternate email on May 28th. So hopefully it will be even earlier this year. Last year they also sent out the regret emails before the admissions ones; I think they were a few days apart even....so no news is good news I guess!
  10. I hope you get in! The waiting is driving me bonkers too! Good luck!
  11. I saw it in my inbox and got all excited because I thought it was the admissions email. I psyched myself up to open it and everything lol
  12. It's an email. Last year they sent out regret emails first, then the waitlist ones and they sent the acceptance ones last.
  13. I hope they don't make us wait until June....so torturous!
  14. I know right?! When I called, the lady told me that she didn't have a specific date for the release but that her calender said first or second week in May
  15. Yeah I'm in the same boat with you at 354.5
  16. Bummer, at least now we know they have everyone's scores sorted out....can't be too long now right? Good luck!
  17. I haven't heard anything; would they tell me if I called?
  18. Yeah this is my second time applying...i got full points on the essay and i only missed it by 6 people last year...so disappointing! Last year all of the accepted applicants were within a few points of each other but with the test this year, I think there will be a much larger point spectrum that get in now.
  19. I know....I'm dying over here lol. I got an 82 & have a B in one of my classes but I also have alternate points so I have 354.5 points.
  20. Maybe they just give themselves ample time to get the scores out...better earlier than the estimate than later!
  21. Today the test lady said that they will have the scores in to the admissions committee in 3 weeks, so I guess sometime after that
