  1. Congrats to you!! :) If you got the phone call then I'm about 90% sure it means you got the job. I heard rejections are sent through email! What floor did you apply to??
  2. Wow Congrats :) !!! What floor did you apply to?? And did you accept?
  3. Did anyone here apply to the surgical step down unit??
  4. Oh snap! You got the job??? Congrats!!! What department did you apply to? 😱
  5. Yes, they actually emailed us with a list of floors that are accepting new grads. Check your email!
  6. Hello! I am! Did you get invited to do the in person interview next week??
  7. I think we're just supposed to bring the handbook and the orientation packet. I haven't heard anything about a dress code
  8. I thought that we didn't have to do SOAR since we're gonna be in nursing? 0: am I wrong?
  9. Yeah I think I did bad on the written part I think for the group discussion my whole group did well!
  10. Just called to make an appointment! I'm in group C @ 1pm! She told me that "the lowest competitive score for an interview" was 9.31. I'm guessing that includes alternates?
  11. I got an email today stating I have been chosen for an interview! Check your emails everyone!
  12. @Mrclean01 I hear it's recommended not to work for atleast the first semester so your cab properly adjust to the nursing schedule. But it all depends on the person, maybe you will be perfectly fine working those 24 hours a week.
  13. Got a confirmation email today stating that they received my application! -------------- hydralover - 9.78 MrClean,RN - 9.75 stephnehme - 9.65 Dannydgk - 9.61 Ryssaas93 - 9.47 Hoangnguyen - 9.45 sarraaa85 - 9.41 nana4 - 9.37 hopefulmurse14 - 9.3 mightymurse01 - 9.25 Bgon - 8.8 If you haven't already please add your score to the list! It'll help us see what the cut off is when acceptance/interview emails come out!
  14. Hello everyone! I retook the TEAS one last time and managed to raise my score to 9.61! I have started a list of scores below so we can have a better view of what scores everyone has. Please copy and add your name to the list below! MrClean,RN - 9.75 stephnehme - 9.65 Dannydgk - 9.61 sarraaa85 - 9.41 nana4 - 9.37 mightymurse01 - 9.25 hopefulmurse14 - 9.3
  15. I'm am almost sure that the scores posted in the pool statistics page include the alternates accepted. And in previous threads Ive read that people have called and asked the coordinator and she confirmed that only csulb students can get on the alternates list but who knows
  16. The thing is that the people who got in with pretty low scores were probably csulb students who were wait listed. Only csulb students can get on the wait list.
  17. Hello everyone! I have a score of 9.51 but I think I'm going to take the TEAS again and try to get a higher score.
  18. I haven't heard anything from them so far
  19. Have you decided where you're going?
  20. Has anyone heard anything yet from the SON? and I haven't even gotten my FA offer yet, is that bad? 0.o
  21. What do you mean by FA offer?
  22. Hmmmm im leaning towards CSULB so I dont know if I should pay it. Grrr
  23. So I had 80 points and I was denied for "not" being a California resident. (Which I am) I could call and have them correct this issue but I am planning on going to CSULB so I'll just let it as is. Still, would've been nice to see an acceptance emaill:( lol
  24. So we have to pay our deposit by tomorrow? May 1?
  25. I had the same issue as you but I talked with an admissions rep from CSULA. You only need English 101 and your college equivalent of CSULA's English 102.
