CGFNS is the one that gives your info to the board once they accept you..the BON shouldn't have a problem they usually just send you an ok to test

I feel the interview wentwell-I was interviewed by two nurses from different floors in the mental healthdepartment. They told me that I wouldn't fit in there floors because its acute-andthey need nurses with more experience.They told me that they would forward my applicationto another nurse manager in mental health...[/COLOR] [COLOR=#000000]Should I call her and ask about my application or wait onher to contact me...its been a week. Should I start with working at a TCU--I am currently working in two group homes and I feel like hospitals prefer TCU or nursing home experience.. thanks for your advice ! [/COLOR]

I am in the same situation but for CES service..its been 2 months since my school and the liscensing authority sent in my documents and still it says "waiting for req item" i called and they said that it should be there by now which i dont understand ..i called today and one of the workes there said to give it 3 days or its lost ...i kean i sent it through two different places how dan both of them be lodt..i went throuh ca bon and got rejected so i am losing hope i been trying since nov 14 ....thanks for the advice

Update: I am on the final step .. I got another letter stating some missing things I have to turn in and I did..I finally got my original liscense..I'm praying that I get a good response that I don't have to make up classes or be denyed based on concurrency

So are they still accepting a letter of explanation ?

I have a big problem so the country I went to school in Ethiopia is denying me my license to practice..they are saying that I have to be there to get the lisense and noone else can go and get it...its like a government building ..i know this is not legal because I gave a legal authorization to my aunt to get my license and send it to me...my mom was saying we should go to the state and ask if there is anything they can do...i know Africa is corrupted I think they want a bribe or something idk sometimes they just like to see people miserable too...is there a way I can describe my situation to the California board soo confused!

I am a US citizen...so no worries on that part.So an update my school recently sent in all of my required documents..i am waiting to recieve my liscense so i can send in my fingerprinting and my liscense ...then im done...What is IEN? What is the CA bon rejecting foreign nursing graduates based on? If it is concurrency issues..I think i dont have a problem with that..I have decided to wait until i get some kind of response from CA bon ...how long would that take? ...until I apply to CFGNS,

Ok so ur saying that if I do finish with Cali and get licensed by them..im not guaranteed acceptance by Minnesota? Someone told me to try and get licensed through new York...but I'm just going to go with Cali and Minnesota..also, does anyone know if I need to take a refresher course ? Do most people take that?

I think since I already Paid the money I'm just going to keep trying idk ..any one have experiences with the ca Bon? I am applying to mn that is where I live so I will need cfgns .. My hope was to finish with Cali without the cfgns and take that lisense to Minnesota ...

I am an international BSC nursing graduate. My school sent official documents to the California Board of Nursing. The documents included were: application for liscensure, official transcript, a copy of my degree, the breakdown required for international graduates, and a booklet that contained detailed information about the courses that I had taken. The school had notified me that it sent out my document on the week of Sept 22-26 2014. I recently created an account on Breeze and paid the stated amount for testing. I have not been given notification from the board stating that they have or have not received my document. Please give me information on the status of application. -this the message that i faxed and sent to the board... i haven't got a reply but right after i paid they sent me a longer list of more required documents i am wondering if they received the mail at all ?? because i paid over 200 dollars just to have a course description book made... i cant reach them at all. so should i resend everything including the new documents they asked for ....or should i wait it out more?... Also should i start another application for liscensure in another state on the side ..?? if so, what states have a speedier process and where they are good with communication because CA bon is not cutting it!
