After searching, there's an app called "Trauma Nursing - TNCC 1,000MCQ" on Google play. It can be downloaded to an android or iphone. The reviews seem pretty good. There's a Kindle book called "Trauma Nursing - TNCC Certification Review" on Amazon. However, the reviews are not so good.

I've been looking for the same, since the main book does not have any practice questions, where I can self-assess my knowledge.
  3. Hi GaMommy81, Thanks for letting me know. I sent you my info. Have you finished Ch 2? Are you using Pass CCRN 4th ed?
  4. GaMommy81, I sent you a private message :)
  5. GaMommy81, I'm moving through the book slowly too, but will go over it a 2nd time quickly, and perhaps a 3rd time. I'm taking my own notes from each chapter as I go through it, and I'm completing the learning activities at the end of each chapter. Its definitely gotten me back into the routine of studying. Perhaps we can encourage or motivate each other to get through each chapter each week by bouncing ideas or doing a quick chapter summary? Just a thought.
  6. Congrats on getting hired to the ER! Starting out as a new grad in the ER is like starting out anywhere else as a newbie. You'll feel like you don't know anything for the first several months on the job. Just remember that you won't be alone. The staff will be there for you, especially since you are new :)
  7. GaMommy81, how far have you gotten in PassCCRN? I'm on Ch 7 GI.
  8. Great report! This is how I prefer to give report, and receive it. Very concise!
  9. At my small regional hospital, the charge nurses do not take patients, since they have to respond to codes on our unit and others. We're always 1:1 with CRRT. Didn't realize we have good here.
  10. GaMommy81, I'm currently unable to private message you my contact info for Pass CCRN study. Perhaps you can contact me?
  11. Hi GaMommy81, I'm studying for Pass CCRN too. Yes! I would like to bounce ideas about the chapters. What chapter are you on in Pass CCRN?
  12. I'm studying one system at a time in the Pass CCRN book. After 4 chapters (in Pass CCRN), I plan to complete the first practice test in the AACN Certification and Core Review book. Then I read another 4 chapters, and complete a second practice test. How is everyone else studying? Anyone up for studying content together? Or at least, throwing a few ideas about each chapter back-and-forth?
  13. Would be interested in the same!
  14. I'm using "Pass CCRN!" and the AACN Question book. What are your study materials?
  15. Yes, I'll be taking it soon in the next 2 months. How's your studying coming along?
