Ed91, I remember getting those emails too! Waiting for an acceptance and still getting the informational notifications seemed like evil trickery. Julinne64, I think the email Ed91 is talking about is just the basic program details people attend for general information, not for orientation or anything.

Good luck everyone! I applied for Fall 2015 but was admitted for Spring 2016, so hopefully you'll be admitted this round, too. It'll be nice to start connecting with others on the same roller coaster ride.

I received one too, but four days later.

Today I also received a letter of invitation for an interview, and I live in the San Gabriel Valley. Hopefully everyone gets their notifications soon!

@coycoy22 - I received the letter 3 days after the acceptance phone call. @Nursetahaj - I only received info to send the deposit. No other paperwork was mentioned to send to secure my spot.

@emt027 I also received the letter regarding the deposit today. It came via certified mail and says I have 30 days from today to send at least half of the $1000 deposit. And the rest by October 1st for my Spring 2016 admission. It also says other info about orientation will be sent via email.

I also received an email of great news for a starting semester of Spring 2016 at the Monrovia campus! :) Congrats to the others who have received one as well. I haven't seen anything about when to confirm/send our deposit. Has anyone else seen anything? Anyone started a FB group?

Or maybe the person writing the date was looking at a December calendar. Because the 15th of DECEMBER was on a Monday.

I know what you guys mean. I'm the same way. I'm even looking forward to someone else saying they've been accepted to the Monrovia campus. I just want to be happy for someone haha. Hopefully they let us know really soon.

I think this is the final weeks of interviews! I can't wait for us to start hearing back about the results of our applications! Hopefully they come in soon. How is everyone doing?

I don't think your chances will be too badly affected. I think those of us who have classes in progress/remaining will lose a couple points, but it shouldn't be anything too significant. I don't think you should be too frustrated because your friend didn't have to take the comm class. Did you see it written somewhere that your comm class would satisfy the requirement? Or were you just hoping it would be ok since it was ok for your friend? Maybe your friend was the lucky one to have the comm class suffice, instead of you being unlucky. Based on your GPA and experience in healthcare, I think you have a great chance to get accepted! and I hope everything works out well for you!

Nope.. haven't heard anything since I sent my application in. But I feel like our good news will be coming soon!

Yeah that's how I understand things, too. If you choose to attend a different school after you send the deposit then you'd lose the money.

How did it go, xochrIstinaxo? I hope it went well. They didn't say anything about being chosen right away, but they said everyone should know by the middle of January because they'll start making decisions by mid-December. I believe there is a point system. I remember hearing that at an information session.

xochrlstinaxo- Sorry for the delay but this weekend has been very busy for me. My interview was comfortable and I felt good about it afterward. I agree with a lot of what Jessie van Wijk said. I arrived about 20 minutes before the appointment time and completed the writing sample. The receptionist gave it to me and had me sit in a separate little room. Once I was done, she walked me upstairs to the interviewer's office. It was very comfortable, nothing too formal, but she did ask me Why I want to be a nurse, How I heard about their program, and why I chose to attend my undergrad university. Most of the session we discussed the curriculum and she answered any questions I had (so be sure you have your questions/concerns ready) in a very nice way. There was no uncomfortable moments and no standard interview questions about strengths/weaknesses, "give me an example of a time when...." It was a very comfortable interview and I was out of there in just under an hour. When do you have your interview? I think you will find it to be a good experience, too.

xochrlstinaxo: Don't be nervous. Things will turn out as they should. I have my interview next month as well. I hope it goes well for us! Which concentration are you applying for? Polo goalie: Yes, after I submitted my app, they emailed me a few weeks later with a couple options for an advising appointment.
