I agree.. I want to say that unfortunately I think you guys are wait listed. We have already gotten our school email and had an accepted students chat.. We also already registered for classes.

I got my acceptance letter yesterday. You have 14 days from the date of the letter to submit payment. My letter was dated Nov 10th

Vigor145 I was told that we send proof of payment and once they receive that, that they will set up proper communications to give us info about what we need to do next and how etc. All we can do now is wait for the letter. I'm so excited to start the process!

She said deposit is between $400-$500 and it is due 2 weeks after you get your acceptance letter. This goes towards tuition if I'm not mistaken.

I just got my call! The woman said that she changed the status online first then made calls because she knew people where waiting. She said that once we send in proof of the deposit that proper communication would be set up for orientation etc.

Not at all. My GPA at the time was 3.45. (I'm taking Medical Terminology right now, not required but thought it would be helpful. so my GPA now is 3.47) My TEAS adjusted individual score is 78.0%. Reading 85.7%, Math 63.3% (which I'm embarrassed about because I thought that was one of my strong areas), Science 85.4%, English 70.0%.

Thank you kmorreale. My status changed online already so I'm hoping to get a call soon. I have to notify another school since UMSON is my first choice. I want to wait for the call because it still doesn't feel real lol.

Thank you so much guys! I wouldn't have been able to be so calm through out this process with out all of you! I don't even know what to do right now haha. I have always wanted to go to UMSON and went to an open house 2 years ago! Wayyy before I was done with my pre reqs! This is so unbelievable. I cannot wait to start this next chapter and meet everyone. I am going to Baltimore campus.

congrats!!!! Does this mean I can start checking surfs like crazy now... orr... never mind I didn't know you were guaranteed admission. I wish I didn't have to wait 3 more weeks to find out! lol

Once all of us get our acceptance letters :) I feel like the process will be so rushed... but like bcandygurl said we are the only ones taking most of these classes in spring 2015 so I hope we will still be able to get our schedules as close to what we want as possible.

@snowbound40 I dont think the forms are online. If UMSON process is anything like Towson. It will come with your acceptance letter!

@bsn-hope is that option only available for Hagerstown right now?

3-4 weeks! I'm excited I know when I will find out but geezz.. that is further away than when I thought I was going to hear from them.. As long as it is before December I don't think it should interfere with the Towson nursing deadlines.. I just really hope I hear before the 20th because that is when I scheduled a physical and I only wanted my doctor to have to fill out one form.. oh well... Also I'll be hearing right around my birthday! Nov 21!!

I have a question.. So I finally got my acceptance to Towson the University. And I saw there is a separate deposit for that. -_- does that mean I should just pay the $200 for the nursing school and hold off on the deposit to the universtiy until I know for sure if I will be going to towson?

I really like iFitNurse. I think is a great video on how to prepare for nursing school. Especially the organizing aspect of it
