kkay29, first of all, congrats! Second, I completely forgot about that test, so that should tell you a lot. It is not a big deal. It is just that, critical thinking questions, in the same format as the TEAS. Just show up and take it, don't worry about studying for it because you really can't. Instead, enjoy your free time while you have it. I hope that helps!

I am not stressing about it. It may be a learning style test, a nursing skills test to gauge how much we already know/don't know, or a more advanced "TEAS" to see if we have any higher math or science knowledge. Whatever it is, it does not impact our acceptance beyond did you show up and take it, if so, you are still in. My main thought is that its another hoop to just through, I just need to be there, and otherwise, I don't care.

RuthieBee, that server issue was so annoying. I too could not focus and wound up running out of time in that section which stressed me out and I wound up rushing, and screwing up the math section. But from what I hear that server issue is not as uncommon as the proctor made it sound.

Sorry to hear that. I do hope you get in winter but it will most likely be spring since I was told by one of the consolers they are only taking 10 students in winter because they have to take a bunch from the 1-2-1 program or something. Remember they are closed today and Monday also.

I just got accepted into EVCC for Fall 2014 and I have a questions about books. Do you recommend buying or renting books for the first quarter?

Mine was an 88.7 but I am worried that my math score (83.3) will keep me from getting in.

I am hoping this week but might be next week. What was your score if you don't mind me asking?

Application deadline was July 7th, and the print date on the letter was July 15th. I took the test August 20th and should get an answer next week.
