  1. I agree with breng02! This actually a repeat of the TEAS for me, my first time didn't go well at all. It's a lot more difficult to me than the HESI which I did very well in and found easy. The TEAS is very random and I don't feel the guide helps much. I'm definitely praying to score higher this time. Are you appying to all campuses? Do you know any students in the program or applying?
  2. Hi breng02, I will be applying to TWU. Hoping for the Houston campus but open to Dallas and Denton. I am taking my TEAS in January and still have 2 prerequisites to take. I'm nervous about applying and the TEAS. My gpa is 3.5. I really hope to get in and do well on my TEAS. Anyone with study tips on how to get a great score please share, definitely shooting for 80% or higher. How's your process going breng02?
  3. I originally applied for spring but will also be going for summer. I need to retake my HESI to get higher score in a section or two which I got a 82 in reading and a 76 in A&P, all other sections were 90+. I heard that for UT you have to retake the whole exam and you can't just retake sections, is this true? I'm so afraid to retake and get lower scores.
  4. I had a 3.6 gpa and got 90+ on all sections of my Hesi except reading and A&P which were in the 80s. Only class I hasnt taken was Pharm but all other pre-reqs were done, and I even have a bachelor's degree and work in ob/gyn doctors office in patient triage. I'm so lost but idk. I called the office to make sure it wasn't a mistake so I'm waiting to hear back from them..
  5. Thanks ethiorn! I will keep going. Congrats to you! @shern I understand how you feel. I thought I had a good chance of getting in as well. Don't give up! I'm actually gonna apply to UTMB and uthsc this coming year and a few programs. Alvin is really competitive and I know a lot of ppl who really wanted to go there.
  6. @futurern that's weird! I'd call and ask about that
  7. I wasn't accepted :scrying:not sure why, but it's okay...it just means it wasn't meant to be and I'll keep applying to other programs. It was my first and only school I applied to so I have faith that next time it'll be right :) God makes no mistakes. Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!! :)
  8. Congrats ladies!!! What time did u get the emails? I still haven't received anything! Stay positive, I have a good feeling and hope to get one soon!
  9. Well thanks for keeping up posted on that guys! One more week, we gotta continue to be positive! There's a lot of students that applied to other programs that are still waiting too. My best friend just got accepted to pharmacy school today and we were both waiting at the same time to find about school. I was hoping to know this week but I'm praying to get an acceptance letter next week and we'll be celebrating together!
  10. Same here! I even left my phone at home on the way to work and turned around to get it because all I could think about is, what if they send out emails today!! Lol. I'm praying its wishing the next few days..
  11. Good to hear! They surely are, TWU and UTMB have sent theirs out as well. Alvin told you starting tomorrow we may get emails so hopefully by end of next week we will all know!
  12. Thanks for the replies guys. I was just wondering if we are the only ones still waiting. Does anyone know if they are accepting 40 or 60 students this time. Previous threads have stated up to 60 students.
  13. Btw, this kinda off topic for this forum but have the other ADN programs ( San jac, lone star, Wharton, etc ) that have spring admission sent out their notifications? I know that sometime all the programs try to notify around the same time for students who may have applied to more than one school can make a decision.
  14. I really hope we find out this week! Im so ready to find out. Lol I'm praying to God for patience but also to get an acceptance letter all at the same time!
  15. Morning FutureRN! Same here, just patiently but also anxiously to hear something. I keep checking my email every few minutes. Now that futuredoc heard that we will possibly get news this week, I'm on high alert! Lol
