alisonceli: a couple girls ( tht were not at austin interviews) said that the monday we started doing the austin interviews is when they recieved emails from tech asking them to come interview for dallas cohort. SO they revieved those emails before all the ATX interviews even took place, so i guess that could help to answer ur question "did they not have enough people interested from austin interviews" .. they were asking other people to interview for dallas before the austin interviews even started. i am impatient so i emailed them with questions like the day i received that email ha. hope this was somewhat helpful. good luck keep us posted please!

ok so this is exactly what happened with my situation i received email saying i was being considered for dallas cohort, i emailed and asked if me being considered for dallas meant that i was no longer being considered for austin. i then received phone call almost an hour after sending that email and i was asked which location id prefer austin or dallas? and i said dallas. she then told me ok well you are accepted and we will send your official acceptance email etc etc... she explained that they are only considering certaian people for dallas cohort bc it is BRAND NEW and they are looking at certain qualities ( so thats great they contacted yall) and that is why not everyone that was at austin interviews was told about dallas cohort. with that being said she said there are about ten spots total in dallas and she had at that time only accepted to one other student. so thts why im saying theres prob about 8 spots left. hope this helps

ALIZMA: i think around 15-20 people they are still considering for the 7-8 remaining spots so if you have any patient care experience make sure you talk about that as well as any of your strengths because i have 4.0 gpa in science and pre recs and quite a bit of experience but my teas scores were pretty low like i think 74% and she said that they realized those were low but what got me in was my other strengths esp experience.. keep me posted!

hay everyone just keeping yall updated i just received phone call from ttuhsc and she asked me if i had a preference for austin or dallas location and i said i would gladly go wherever they put me , and she said she can offer me a spot right this second in Dallas cohort if i accept so since im in Dallas i def. accepted! so im officially in the Dallas cohort if anyone else joins this cohort please let me know! and Fyi she did tell me if i wasnt able to do the dallas location she could still most likely offer me a spot in the ATX location , with that being said there still are a few open spots in the Austin location. so Austin is mot completely full.. ok hope this helps good luck!

please leave word if you hear anything from the school about the dallas cohort. i am for sure nervous about this since there is only 10 people in this cohort.

yes they asked me about the dallas cohort and i saidyes id move there haha. and yes its ten additional people for the dallas location. and 30-35 for austin

i talked to kayla and they are interviewing 70 people and 35-40 will be accepted

also do they look at our GPA's for our science courses , our GPA's for our pre rec courses AND our GPA's for every college course we have ever taken? because i was under impression they just looked at the first two GPA scores?

hi everyone i also received an email telling me i have an interview and mine is in austin on the 30th . does anyone else have that interview date as well??
