  1. Hey everyone, After graduation (2017)I plan on moving from Canada to the states to be with my fiance. I was wondering, what are the chances of them hiring a new grad? Has the job application process changed since Canada has shifted from CRNE to NCLEX examinations? As well, Can Canadian nurses take part in Nursing residencies in the States to obtain work experience? If anyone out there has any experience, advice or resources for the best way to find a job in the States after graduation, I would love to hear from you! I have 3 more years left till graduation, so I'd like to prep as much as possible. Thank you all for your time!
  2. I started my Nursing program early this year (2014) in Canada. I'm aware that I have to take the CRNE board exam after my 4 years. what i'm wondering is, if i plan to work in another commonwealth country or the States will I have to take another board exam to be able to practice there? If I do, what are they? Is it best to take my CRNE and the other board exam at the same time? (I'm very interested in travelling and taking my nursing career in other countries. I wanted to know what my limitations are regarding my goal.)
  3. hey! Are those extra requirements required immediately? I was thinking could it be possible to get those out of the way after April.
  4. I'm currently conditionally accepted for the winter term at grant mac. I received my letter a few months ago and it says as long as i maintained my current GPA and passed my clearance check i'll be all set to enrol for winter term. If i complete my security clearance early on (within 90 day period) will I receive unconditional acceptance sooner? As well after receiving full acceptance, do i create my own schedule or will I choose from set patterns?
