Tentative offer
My portfolio is submitted after three revisions and some help. *crossing fingers*

Tentative offer
Are you allowed to negotiate once they tell you their offer? Like if they try to start me at level 1 but I should be a 2, am I allowed to ask for that?

Tentative offer
Hello all. I received a tentative offer from the VA. I’ve really been trying hard to understand the grade, level and pay and I just don’t get it. For those who do understand it can you give me an idea of what they might offer? I have a BSN with two certifications and 7 years experience... also. How do I put together my portfolio for the psb? I have no clue how to even start. thanks!

Night Shift Help!!
And I'm not really sure how you do not know me but yet seem to think that I am "rushing" things? I have had my RN since 2009 and have struggling to find a job due to this economy. If anything it's aBout damn time I actually started my career! I'm proud of what I do and just need advice on how to survive the night shift, not a novel on how to live my lift, how "well" we should be just because we are military or how amazing we should be at saving money. Life may turn out perfect for others but real life is not rainbows and unicorns. Some people do struggle and even though we may have our heads above water today does not mean we may not be drowning tomorrow. **** happens.. Don't judge others

Night Shift Help!!
Many civilians seem to think that the military pays out the hooha and all there is to do is sit back and enjoy the $$... SO wrong! My husbands pay checks barely cover our car note let alone our other bills! Even with us both working we still struggle some weeks. It makes me SO angry when people seem to think we are rich and should be dishing out money to help pay THEIR bills or ask me why I'm working. It's ridiculous! Military doesn't pay a lot!!

Danskos?
I officially have up the Danskos. My poor pinky toes just couldn't so it anymore. I got some Nike glycerine a with gel inserts. They seem to be working well. I got the men's size because my feet are too damn wide! I think that's my problem with Danskos, my feet are just too wide. :/

Night Shift Help!!
I am slowly getting use to working nights. My husband has been a huge help! My son goes to daycare so there is someone to watch him while mommy catches up on zzzzz's. I do not see myself doing nights forever though...

Danskos?
I just bought my first pair of Danskos. I am usually a sneaker woman but have had really bad foot and back pain and my co workers recommended Danskos. I dished out the $130.00 but now my pinky toes are killing me!!! The shoe just runs against them to a point I am literally limping! Is there something I will eventually get used to? Anyone experience this and eventually have the shoe mold to your foot? I would hate to never wear them again, and I am not sure if I just need to "break them in" or give up. :/

Night Shift Help!!
I am still on orientation with my unit and switched to night shift after working days (I applied for nights, we need the $$). What tips can you give me to make sure I get enough sleep but also spend time with my family? I have a one year old and my husband is military. I swear I am either working or sleeping, and 1/2 the time too tired to even cook especially when I have back to back shifts.... Help!!
