Received my 3rd rejection today.
Follow your dreams!! If it makes you feel s little bit better, you're not alone. I attempted applying to an accelerated Rn program at a university where they assessed my grades, then interviewed thereafter. I am already an LPN competing with interviewees who have no nursing experience, yet they denied me 3 times! At the beginning I took it hard, then eventually became confident on my 3rd try but still failed. Then One week ago I got offered a seat in a local college! Nursing is worth the hard work, someone out there will notice you! Just be patient and apply to many schools!! Good luck:)

UBC Nursing - September 2013
That is comforting to know we're not at it alone. Been to the interviews 3 times in a row and failed as well and I'm already described as a good nurse (LPN) at work. I also agree that everything happens for a reason and the right thing will happen at the right time:)

I was thinking the same thing as you! I had a perfect answer prepared for why I want to be a nurse, yet I could only talk about it during our chit chats with our interviewers. It's hard to show our passion for nursing without being asked that question. I think it is crucial!

Were you able to carry pen and paper? Last year it was allowed but I am not sure about this year. My interview is tomorrow as well. Been reading up on ethical topics all day!

You won't get your supplemental score until weeks after your interview and they inform you of their decision. How are you all preparing for it?

UBC Nursing - September 2013
Hi guys! This is my first post here:) I just got my interview invite at 2:30pm and my interview is on April 17 at 10:30am. I am a nurse (LPN), and this is my 3rd time attending an interview! Lol... I would say this is a really competitive school to get into as even with nursing experience i could not make it in:( Really crossing fingers to do well!
