  1. No disbursement yet this month. I am not sure how the holiday will effect it! Hope you had a great Christmas as well!
  2. I am very thankful for the help! I wish there was a set day for the deposits. My payments are automatically withdrawn from my checking account. This allows me to get a .25% decrease in my interest with NELNET. It makes it difficult to budget. I don't want to sound not grateful because I am! This is my OCD coming out.
  3. So I called today to ask about this months deposit for this month. I was told that since it was the end of one fiscal year going into a new fiscal year it is delayed. It should be deposited by the end of the month, but it is not considered late until the 15th of next month.
  4. I too received a payment on 9/19, but have not received a deposit this month.
  5. I just checked my bank account. I'm a little OCD and I check my account daily.
  6. I received my first deposit on Sept. 19. It was for August and Sept. it will be soon!!!
  7. I received my first deposit with one month back pay on 9/19/12.
  8. My contract start date was 7/3 and I have not received my first payment. I sent a message through the portal and was told all disbursements will start in Sept and it does not necessarily correspond exactly with contract dates. I was also told the system is set up that way and can not be changed.
  9. I believe we have to submit employment verification forms via the portal every 6 months. Not sure about the loan part.
  10. No don't give up hope! I have a friend who received her first letter at the end of Sept 2 yrs ago!
  11. Yes, please be safe! Prayers coming your way!
  12. Nope. After I receive the last email I did not have to send anything end or do anything else!
  13. Yay! I know for me Waiting for the contract was the hardest part!
  14. Looking at mine it is taxed at approx 30%.
  15. The electronic signature from the OFAM approval was the only signature on mine as well! I know it took abt 30 days from the time I notice my contract was signed until I received the second email stating I was a participant.
  16. Congrats everyone who has received an email! I received an email that said I had been awarded!!! I verified some info in the portal then was able to view a welcome package, contract, PAW, and my award letter. With in the award letter it said to expect my first deposit 30 days after my contract went into effect. My contract effective date was 7/3/12. I sent a message through the customer service portal and received a reply that all deposits will be made in Sept. I was told that is the way the system is set up. I did not receive anything via snail mail. It was all through my email. I hope everyone receives the final award letter soon! For me the anticipation and hope of receiving the award after the email that stated this isn't a guarantee award was worse than waiting to hear back anything. Congrats everyone and for those still waiting DO NOT give up hope! I had a friend who received an email in October 2 yrs ago!
  17. Yes I am looking at the first page below the application. The signatures are at the bottom on the second page. It does sound promising, but I called HRSA to see if this means I am under contract since I had not heard anything. I was told to be patient and the rep could not review and see what I was seeing.
  18. StaceeRN I saw one post that said she received an intent to accept, but the funding ran out before it got to her. :-( After reading that I'm not going my hopes up.
  19. For the few that have received an email have you checked the electronic contract to see if the HHS rep has signed it??? I checked mine today and it appears there is an electronic signature present. It is on a second page that is blank except for my electronic signature and some one else's electronic signature. I have not received anything stating I have received an award. I like to think this is positive, but like I said I have not received anything that is definitive. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I have read on past Nelrp blogs that there are applicants who signed a contract and anticipation to accept an award, but then did not receive an award.
  20. Tslance77-Congrats! Things seem to be very sporadic and moving slow this year compared to post from previous years! I hope more people will hear something soon! Hang in there everyone! Don't give up hope!
  21. I'm happy that others are starting to hear something as well. I felt bad posting I received an email in June. Good luck to everyone and congrats to those who have received emails.
