Basically I'd take the class Transitions from LPN to RN. So I wouldn't have to take Fundamentals I and Pharmacology I which I've taken as an LPN... and it takes one semester off so I'd graduate sooner. This would be the cheaper option.

Hello, In December 2017 I signed up for the LPN to RN program. I got a letter in saying I was accepted, but I come to find out that enrollment services put me in the traditional ADN program, and I'd have to take classes that I would've been able to test out of because I'm an LPN. I talked to the person in charge of the program and she said that the program is full for fall of 2018, and they can't accommodate additional students. I'm going to my adviser to have them put me in the right program, but I don't know if I should just start in the fall and take the extra classes, or wait until spring and be in the actual LPN to RN program.... Advice anyone?

I know exactly how you feel our courses are only 4 weeks long, it's an accelerated program and it's very challenging. Of course it's going to get more difficult the further you go up. But if you really want this, you can do it. Try and figure out what you did wrong and change that to help you do better and to pass. When I study I have to have NO distractions and it has to be quiet. I do highlight important things then I go write them down and say them out loud to myself. I always ask my instructor for help or I go straight to tutoring. You're not going to learn everything, some of it will come from experience. If it's been done before, it can be done again. Do not give up! Good luck :)

Thank you so much for putting this up, I really needed it! I'm in a LPN program right now and I must say it's pretty challenging and I want to eventually get my RN. I REFUSE to give up on this, it is my dream and I've never wanted nothing more. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation to keep going! :)
