  1. Looks like an admission to me...did you check your admission status in mystar? Is that where that is coming from? Sounds like congratulations are in order!
  2. haydencneely, I totally agree with you! I know that God has a plan for me and he will put me exactly where I need to be! Unfortunately I am a human who is somewhat impatient and wants to plan the rest of my summer/education plans! Waiting is just a little bit difficult! Good luck to you too! :)
  3. Hemphia, I have a green circle...I wonder if I just haven't received my rejection letter yet I am in Katy so I have no idea why it would take an extra day, but who knows! Has anyone that was not admitted checked their UTH to see if it has changed at all...I would be curious to know that...
  4. No email, no letters, no status change yet! UGH! I'm going nuts here!!!
  5. Well the mail has come and I have nothing from UTHSC. MyUTH has been down all day! What could this possibly mean? Surely mail to Katy would arrive in 2 days!!
  6. I am enrolled in my final classes now and I have a green circle. Hmmmm...that's odd!
  7. CourtAggie5, I have a green circle too. What are your stats, not that it makes much difference, they seem to take whoever they want not necessarily those with the highest scores!
  8. I went back and looked at the message board from last semester they had acceptances from the 2nd of November all the way through the 7th or 8th...they also took fewer students for the Spring term than they will take for the Fall. UGH! I dislike waiting!!!
  9. vintagepeony, I am in the same boat but remaining somewhat optimistic my last name begins with 'N'. Science 3.75 Nursing Pre-reqs 3.6 Overall 3.6 HESI 96% CT 920 My holds changed last week too...
  10. Most programs want the AHA (American Heart Assn.) Healthcare Provider certification. I am pretty sure that's what is needed here too.
  11. Last semester nobody had holds until they were accepted. I was one of those applicants that never had a change! That was the 'trick' that everyone was looking for then. From what I recall there was nobody that had holds change that wasn't accepted. This is a new system, but it makes no sense to have holds for these items if you're not admitted. The poster who stated they had holds last semester and didn't get accepted doesn't seem accurate from what I remember but who knows! :-) Still thinking positive thoughts as my holds are still showing but no status change yet!
  12. No status change yet, still showing 2 holds! Hopeful that we hear something more definitive today!
  13. So many people online right now! lol We look like AN stalkers!
  14. Mine says the same thing. I'm staying cautiously optimistic, but knowing that it's not official until I have a letter in hand!
  15. I didn't bother to check my holds last time I logged in but now I have Immunizations and Health for hold and a Nursing Admission hold....??? Wonder what this means!?!? I am not getting overly excited yet since it is a new system but we are getting close! Anyone else see these holds?
  16. @ Pham, no changes on mine so far! My last name begins with N.
  17. I'm not going to look yet! If they are going in alphabetical order like some say they have in the past, it will be a while! My last name is right in the middle! Hope that means good things for you Pham! Good luck everyone!
  18. @ Pham did you apply for general admission beginning fall 2012 or the accelerated/advanced admission? I don't recall exactly what it's called. I know they started hearing last week!
  19. In my case the transcript evaluation was a crucial packet! I am a fresh start applicant and my transcript did not reflect that! I am not scrambling to get it fixed before I go on the chopping block! UGH!!!! After the many phone calls and emails I was ASSURED that it would be processed correctly and as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, it wasn't done properly! I will be calling and hounding the registrar's office until it is fixed and I have proof in my hands!
  20. @ktdidit, I have a paperclp like the is an attachment, but there is nothing there that I can find! strange! Maybe I should call them on Monday...
  21. Did everyone's email have a paperclip for an 'attachment' that wasn't really there? ktidit were you awarded a scholarship with your acceptance letter? I need to get busy applying! I was told that Fort Bend County loves to give scholarships, I better start looking!
  22. @nici0513 The TEAS was much more difficult. I made a 95 or 96 composite on the HESI and an 80 on the TEAS. That is competitive range for TWU...they like to see a 78 or better per the Admissions Counselor I spoke with today. Hope that helps some! I would get the TEAS study book, it is a lot like the test in my opinion. There are a lot of random questions, just to warn you!!!
  23. There is a FB page already and you will get an invite in PM from Punkydoodles!
  24. Just got my acceptance e-mail too!!! :w00t: Now it's get busy time, I have 3 or 4 shots to get! UGH!!!! Have my background done and my CPR, thank goodness! Congrats to all the others who have been accepted too! Class of 2013 here we come!
  25. @ckjckj I was told that the committee meets every Monday to discuss the previous weeks candidates. She told me they would be meeting on Monday but it could take up to 4 weeks for us to hear something but it would likely be sooner than that. On another note, does anyone know where we can take an upper level Pharmacology or Patho class that will transfer in so that our course load is a little less? I have been looking and the only ones that I have seen are Junior/community colleges and they are not upper level.... I am ready to get this Nursing School Party started....
