Wayne state CRNA 2016
I know OU filled their class already and notified alternates, I work on a unit that sends 12-15 people every year between all the schools, and a mass email went out to everyone who was called and accepted their spots at OU...however if you were notified as an alternate there is still a chance as several people got into both and are currently deciding since deposits weren't sent in yet.

I also took the liberty of making a facebook group like past classes have done for those admitted: Wayne State Nurse Anesthesia Class of 2018 if you look on facebook.

Wayne started calling acceptances today! I got in as did two others I know of...as for interview questions they're the pretty standard why CRNA, what have you done to prepare/know you want this, name a hard clinical situation, name a situation where you had a disagreement with a coworker, asked about grades and education, no real clinical questions, just a clinical scenario at the end after the panel interview.

You won't hear back till after Nov 3, that's the last day of interviews, last year they let people know the last day of interviews and a day or two after.

University of Michigan (UofM) Accelerated program
He's a current student this year that got in off the waitlist last year, and not sure exactly when he got in, but I know some of my classmates got in as late as 48 hours before skills blitz (which for us was two weeks before classes started, give or take)

Oh also forgot! If you received your previous undergrad from UM the only way you'll hear about a decision is by checking wolverine access, no email, no letter. They assume since you already have one degree from UM you'll accept the decision and just accept it for you, so when you log into wolverine access under application status you'll see "you have accepted admission to" and then the program, at least that's how it was for us previous UM students last year. Hope that helps for what it's worth.

Congrats to all who got in. As for everyone else, yes last year there was about 3 waves of acceptance letters and numerous people got in off the waitlist (I want to say there was 10 total and one only 2 weeks before the program started!) so don't give up hope. Also, we had a meeting and were told for sure the curriculum was changed to 16 months, the masters courses the last 4 months were not optional, and with regards to UM's masters programs you guys would be given preference if you planned to go straight through the accelerated program and the masters. My instate tuition for this program, without room/board (but including books and supplies) was about 28,000, but I would assume another 10,000/11,000 for the extra 4 months. Any other questions, feel free to ask, and once again congratulations! There's some rough parts and you'll have to learn to be flexible, but you're going to a good school, get to have your clinicals in an amazing hospital, and you'll get through it.

I got my acceptance today too :) sooo happy and relieved. And as a U of M alumni, I can vouch for the fact that they just automatically accept us and it says "you've accepted admission" as opposed to giving us a choice to accept or decline. For all of those still waiting to hear, good luck! And for my fellow classmates, I can't wait to meet you guys in July!

I don't know if anyone's seen this beffore, but I noticed the questions about the current second career class profile and when U of M updated their websites they added a class profile, thought you guys might like looking at it, I know I hadn't seen it before: http://nursing.umich.edu/about-our-school/nursing-michigan/fast-facts/2010-second-career-bsn-profile

Nick could of been lying, I just told you what I'd been told, and yes they told me this week, but from what everyone's been posting on here, they've been saying stuff like that since January. As for the U of M alum thing, my mom's in education and she says yes, generally schools give preference because they then know you can perform at the level of that school and there's no question as to what you learn, although she also says that they aren't supposed to say that because then they can be opening themselves up for criticism and other potential bad things. As far as April goes, I'd think it'd be April at the latest, because you have to submit a deposit to reserve your spot by May 1st, but who knows.

Believe me I've already thought of that and been ****** because nick also skipped half of our patho classes at u of m and copied notes from me or my friend, while getting worse grades, but oh well, lifes not fair, hopefully they start giving the rest of us answers and we got in as well to soften that blow :)

Nick did, he got in, I called and they said they're almost done reviewing mine and I should get my decision this week, but who knows because they've said that before; and it doesn't really make sense with rolling admission, because I applied the first week of august and he applied in december, but i don't know, just trying to help

I haven't heard gotten that email at all, and I know I'm all submitted...when you look on wolverine access does it list your application number and date submitted? If not you might want to double check that you don't need that, because I thought you did
