  1. Nimisha, I know someone who was in the same situation as yours and got through the interview successfully. But this was not in Chennai consulate. I think you will not face any problem, if you submit the Non Availibility certificate and a secondary evidence.
  2. Nimisha, I can answer the first part of your question. There is no need to go to the court. If BC is not available, you should produce a non availability certificate and secondary documents like Baptism certificate or affadavit from your parents. You can check this information at Chennai Consulate website: http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/documentation.html#no_bc
  3. nimishavarghese what does the automated voice system at NVC say about your case?
  4. Prasin236 To answer your second question: Your husband will need Police Clearance from UAE, Oman and India. He can request for PCC from Indian Embassy in UAE. Please see the following links http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/wwwhconsuivv.html http://travel.state.gov/visa/reciprocity/Country%20Folder/O/Oman.htm
  5. dhel28 where can I find the list of 34 countries mentioned in your post?
  6. Dear Nimisha NVC has completed my case review. I am waiting for packet 4. No encouraging news about retrogression.
  7. I am an Indian nurse. NVC generated fee bill last week and I have sent the fees to the attorney. Will NVC process application or will it be kept till the priority date is current? Any thoughts? Thanks
