Columbia University SRNA's question about admission
Thank you very much for the info. I've written my personal statement but have yet to submit my application. I will take another look at it to see where I can make improvements. Thanks again.

Columbia University SRNA's question about admission
Applying for the 2012 class at Columbia. My application was solid until I took my gre today. I did horrible. 390 q and 440 v. I called the college of nursing and they said since the gre is changing I can't take the new one because they won't receive it In time. My question is to anyone who is currently in the program...is there still hope for me? My stats: 3.8 gpa summa cum laude, 10 years nursing, 4 years CTICU, Bls, acls and pals, CCRN. I'm really bummed. Just looking for some advice. Thanks.

Loans/Fin aid questions for NYC SRNAs
After thinking about it for years I've finally decided to apply to a CRNA program. I'm applying for admission to Suny Downstate and Columbia for admission in 2012. My question is I will be relocating to NYC (from Eastern Suffolk, Long island) for the program. I know I can't work but my husbands salary won't be enough to cover our financial needs. What experience have any of you had in regards to max loans you can take out to cover housing expenses? I plan on living off campus and am picky about where because my son will be in pre-k and kindergarten and I want a good school (heard ps 321 was good in pricey park slope). I plan on doing a lot of overtime prior. So to some it up, I guess I want to know if 100% of my housing costs I can cover with loans? Thanks (I know you are all busy so thanks in advance)
