why normal saline use to treat DKA i know that D5W with insulin and Kcl used to treat DKA?

please tell me how i cauld know which medications ( tablets) should give before or after meals . there is a lot of mediactions. and there is no information i was found inside the leaflet on each drug.

i dont have enough time to read books ok , iam work on hospital on the city far from my village and i cant get with me the med-surg textbook on the hostel . also when i was return to my home there is no time only two off on my schedule, and i set on the net to get all answers for all questions that i want to know to prevent error on my work because iam new graduated staff.be fair when you reply,ok.

when i go to give pt her dose of insulin i hold with me alcohol swab and when senior nurse see me tell me why you had alcohol swab no need for this with insulin injection, i tell hem : why not? he tell me that this well increase blood flow to the area and this not allow with insulin injection.

hi, Iam arabic nurse from jordan . and I am new graduated fron nursing callage and i had a new work on hospital . there is a case i want to ask about it . this case was remove a kidney stone and the doctor ordor to give her insulin infusion in 500ml D5W,i want to tell me why ? i know that we give insulin infused on d5w for DKA but why we give it for kidney stone removal pt? l was asked her doctor but he give me a brief answer .
